Professor Ewa Nowicka-Rusek
Director of the Department of Social Anthropology at the Institute of Sociology of University of Warsaw and Professor at the Academic School of Social Psychology (SWPS) in Warsaw. She is the author of the coursebook of anthropology and many books concerning issues of familiarity and otherness, contatcts of cultures, the emergence of new nations in Siberia and the situation of Polish minority in the post soviet countries and minority groups in Poland and in Central Eastern Europe. She has researching the indigenous nations of Siberia, Romani groups in Central Eastern Europe and Wallachians in the Balkans.
